I think the best part of our school is that you know everyone. There isn't a single person in my grade that I don't know. The teachers are super involved and get along with all the students. On the other hand, it is a small school so if something goes wrong or you quit a sport you lose your friends. It has its problems but so does every school. I really love my school and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The best parts of MVHS are the community and the bonds everyone has with each other. The tradition held in every aspect of our school sets us apart from other schools. Our FFA team at school is also the only school in Clark County with an off-site farm that students use to raise livestock and grow produce such as pumpkins and corn. Our music department has won an absurd amount of music awards such as the john Philips Susa award or the Disney award of excellence.

I love the people at Moapa Valley High School. Most of the students are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints and that helps the atmosphere be more positive and the students are more helpful than I would expect otherwise. One thing I don't like about the school is the landscape and athletic fields. There is not much money put into keeping either of those very nice and it shows. Teachers are pretty helpful and friendly, friends aren't too hard to come by, and there is rarely any bullying, fights, or anything of that nature at Moapa Valley High School.
