Owasso is a generational town. If you aren't raised here and know the key players you will have a hard time fiting in. You better like band and football; they are all that matter. The sad part is the kids suffer academically because of this. The popular families will take priority over families that aren't as involved in what's happening around town or are new. The Owasso 6th Grade center is where it all starts for just passing your child through. My daughter worked hard to in the 5th grade (taking an extra year) to get her academics up. That all fell apart once she got to the 6th grade. She started falling far behind and her Special Ed teachers were zero help and just pushed her through. She was getting so frustrated with this. I eneded up pulling all my kids out of the school system.

This school is awful! There is a lack of discipline, there is cussing, bullying, lies, and a severe lack of security. The school itself is filled to the brim with graffiti and unlocked doors. The teachers/staff are underwhelming and it is unacceptable. I have been to schools all over the country and...
