Pacific Coast Learning Center is a private community program for Christian homeschoolers serving grades kindergarten through 12th grade. On campus classes meet on the second floor of Calvary Chapel Pacific Coast Church located at 6400 Westminster Blvd., in the city of Westminster. The core value of Pacific Coast Learning Center is based upon academic excellence, community commitment and integrity, as well as challenging students to be stewards of noble character. The program offers classes in language arts and social studies featuring group projects, engaging lectures, class activities and literary analysis. All levels of mathematics are taught, and core classes feature the STEAM curriculum. Science 2 U classes offers detail labs, and the Speech & Debate Program provides students with an opportunity to grow as public speakers. Two languages are offered at the school: 1) Spanish Advantage which teaches kids conversational Spanish and Latin culture and 2) American Sign Language which features studies on deaf culture. The homeschooling program also offers a wide variety of electives including music classes, rock band, photography and yearbook. Pacific Coast Learning Center hosts several events throughout the year including school dances, an open mic night to showcase talent and movie nights to help students build community and connections.
