I have attended four different high schools over the past three years, but Paducah Tilghman High School tops them all. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is unmatched. You can't help but feel you can do anything and everything at Paducah Tilghman High School.

Paducah Tilghman High School has very good academics and the teachers will prepare you well enough for college. This high school is very sports affiliated and creates a new family for everyone. The sports games are very fun and the overall environment is great!

I never had many friends because of the environment there. It was very separated between everyone which led to lots of drama and fights. Teachers and staff would always say they were there for you, but i never really felt like they were On a good note, I loved the school culture. The band was amazing and all of the students always felt like a big family at the sports events. The teachers were also pretty involved with us which made it fun, especially when they would perform shows for us.

Underrated. In the Paducah area when you hear Tilghman it's automatically associated with racism but the students rise above it. I moved from the McCracken Co. School District because I heard of Tilghman's amazing honors program but I was greeted by so much more. When they say "Tilghman Pride" it is...

If your child takes honors level classes, then this is a great school for him/her. If not, you might want to seek an education somewhere else.

Paducah Tighman is one of three oldest accredited schools in the state. I love the fact that my children go to a real world school - the will be ready for college, the workforce, for life thanks to PTHS. It is diverse in race and economic status. The richest families in town choose to send their kid...
