GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Good music department. Many people went to State. Sports were good too with many students making it to State for Track, Wrestling, XC, Basketball, etc. Wish there were more opportunities for AP classes but now there are some dual enrollment offered.

Being a small mountain town, teachers are limited and many are being forced to teach subjects that they are not qualified to teach (specifically in the math department). Although the teacher-to-student relationship tends to be stronger with the small school system, there is a lot of biased involved in the teachings and practices within the school.

No major complaints. It's a great learning environment, but they do not offer a very diverse set of science classes.

Only complaint with Bio and new Geography. Learned nearly nothing from geography by this woman. And Bio man is too full of himself to teach.

The High School is a complete joke and the education is nowhere close to higher education. The administration gives pay raises to their friends and top administration while teachers are barely making it.

Left me unprepared for college and lessened my self-worth from the constant bullying by students and teachers. I believe with better leadership, this school could offer much more.
