This school makes a significant effort in appropriate and normal education for the children. There is a sense of togetherness, anti-bullying practices, and sufficient counseling outlets for the children. The lunches are normal/just fine, the fees are normal/just fine. These ratings are so boring already. Blah, blah. Gee, poor kids who don’t speak English score poorly on standardized tests. Duh. Winston Elementary School is fantastic! The teachers are top notch. It’s ridiculous that parents actually are scared away from buying homes here based on these dumb review...

Don’t be fooled by the ratings you see in real estate apps. This simply means Winston has students of color rather than purely white upper class. As a career educator (not in this district), Winston gets it right on so many levels. The teachers are incredible and their communication with parents is...
