Bayside High School may not be the perfect high school, it certainly provides its students with exceptional education opportunities. The BETA engineering program challenges its students using realistic work related activities. It prepares young engineers with the design and deadline challenges engineers must face. Bayside High School also provides excellent machining education. Their machinist workshop owns expensive machinery that gives its students first hand experience with the tools they will need to use. The machine shop also grows significantly in inventory and fund every year. I don't have much experience with the rest of bayside activities other than my classes, however based on the amount of participation in clubs and sports, the opportunity is certainly there.

Bayside high school is a very nice school speaking on just the school itself but of course my opinion waivers as I start talking about the students that make up the school.

I am a student in the BETA Academy at Bayside High School, and my experience so far has been amazing. The BETA teachers are extremely helpful and you learn a lot of skills that you will use in college and after college. I have also participated in some extracurriculars, like basketball and band. Both had been a great experience for me.

My son is currently attending and is enrolled in the collegiate program. He is a part of the Encore program and his friends are enrolled in the Beta program. The teachers and staff go above and beyond for the students. The principal is an amazing leader and encourages, as well as , disciplines as ne...

The academics are dropping at the school and teachers are leaving (like BETA). No longer an A school.
