Palm Lane Charter School’s mission is to help students excel with a curriculum focused primarily on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). This free, public charter elementary school serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Students have regular opportunities to engage in hands-on, real-world activities that maximize their creativity. The school focuses on ensuring that students have the opportunity to collaborate regularly with their peers. The curriculum is delivered in a technology-heavy manner, and students are encouraged to demonstrate critical thinking and clearly communicate their thoughts and ideas to their peers and teachers.
Palm Lane Charter School utilizes an extensive plan for assisting students who are learning English and offers a variety of methods to help students become proficient in the language. In addition to its STEAM-focused core curriculum, students are also exposed to a range of other subject areas, including social studies, music, dance and art.
