GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Palmer High schools community is not very close, but it can be when it wants to be. The high school environment can be harsh, but isn't every high school? Compared to the rumors about the other high schools in the area, Palmer High is the place to go

I believe the amount of lunch time the students are aloud should increase. I also feel that the teachers should not be sending as much homework as they do home, students are in school 6 and a half hours a day everyday and some of them have to work and sports after. I feel school lunch needs to be improved, but that is everywhere not just Palmer High. Overall I enjoyed many teachers and classes at the school over the 3 years I attended.

What I love about Palmer High School is the diversity of students and acceptance. As the sister city of Saroma, Japan, every year Palmer receives two or three Japanese students to study abroad. Another thing that I highly enjoy about Palmer High School is the inclusivity. The teachers are very accepting of everyone. They are willing to call people by their preferred pronouns and names. The teachers are all very personable and great to talk to when you need someone.

Trade programs are also here and students from all tracks are able to take classes in all tracks. Art, musoc,...
