GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've felt very connected with the staff and teachers at this school. I can go up to nearly any teacher and have a one on one conversation with them either about the class. a school event, or just daily life. The best parts are certainly getting to be involved in so much of the school activities and charity events. I get to be in the student council and the national honor society. The worst part is I feel like the school is outdated, and really needs renovations.

I would like to see a motor stable administrative team. Administrator's come in for a short time to get experience and them move on to bigger schools. We need someone who is invested in the school and the students long term.

I loved Palmyra High School. Growing up in an area where the teachers actually cared and you were able to ask anyone for help really pushed me to want to go to college and achieve a higher degree. Not only for myself but for them. It's as if you're trying to make your parents proud even after you graduate.

I was involved in many activities and never got recognized for anything I did. This school favors its athletes (especially its...

The 3 out of 10 rating for Palmyra is unrepresentative of the Palmyra experience. Palmyra offers many things that create outstanding, college-ready students. I am a 2004 graduate of Palmyra High School who attended Susquehanna University on scholarship (leadership award for the many clubs and extrac...
