GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Lately we have had a break out of school threats around white county and others near us. My school has taken the schools safety to the next level. I have never felt more safe in my school than I do now. I, however, don't like the way our lunch is set up, we have too many kids in a very small cafeteria. If I could change anything It would be to Have a bigger cafeteria.

It's a very small school that overall has a decent curriculum. It is a very small southern town so they are kind of conservative and not always the most accepting.

I moved to Pangburn schools in the 6th grade and it was the best choice I have made in my path of education. The way we have our program, the flex schedule, really allows us to work at our own speed and get more one-on-one time with teachers and to get the help we need. We are also allowed to take college courses in high school and gain college credits, or you can go to a tech program, like Mechanics or Welding. We also have a career coach now who helps us majorly with college, scholarships, or even for people going straight into the workforce find jobs.

He had only ever attended a small private school and was homeschooled during his Sophomore year. Entering into public school as a Junior had a little concerned, but we were quickly put...
