I've been at Pangburn since I moved in 10th grade. I had to move due to switching houses and Pangburn was the better option than another school close by. My 10th grade year wasn't the best but I made the most of it. I was able to find a new group of friends pretty easy and almost all of the teachers welcomed me in. By the end of the year I had a group of friends and had gotten close with some of the teachers. By 11th grade I still had my group of friends and was probably one of the most hardest years of high school. I took the chemistry class instead of environmental science class because I wanted to challenge myself in science. I quickly realized it wasn't the best decision and dropped out of the class by the first semester. By my now 12th grade year things have gone by fairly quickly. Those people I met in 10th grade are now adults just waiting to start their lives when they receive their diploma. I think overall the best decision I made was to move here to Pangburn.

Pangburn uses a system that I believe prepares the students for real life and also for college. They have the best school staff I've ever dealt with. They care about their students and do all they can to help when they need it. They have an advisor that stays with a student from 9th - 12th grades. This way they really know the student and learn their weakness and strengths. I'm very thankful for this school.

The students organize into groups. They are similar to gangs. They vape in the bathroom. No one cares because sports kids never get into trouble. If you aren't popular, prepare to be pelted with food in the lunchroom. This school will drain the life from you if you let it.

Pangburn High School has had a major impact in the life of my son. We moved from Indiana to Arkansas early in 2013. He had only ever attended a small private school and was homeschooled during his Sophomore year. Entering into public school as a Junior had a little concerned, but we were quickly put...
