GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am class of 2023, the last class to graduate Parma Senior High before it get torn down. It's a regular high school, so the obvious answer to the experience is not so nice. However, we try and work with what we have. It's where I made the best friends that I have now. I am a sensible person, so I enjoy the minimal chaos. The chaos is what made high school interesting.

The teachers and staff are amazing. You make your education what you want it to be. The teachers are open and willing to help those that want the help.

Most of the teachers at the school are really good at their job but of course there are those that make us hate coming to school. Most of the students at the school are very snobby and not friendly at all. Before attending the school for my freshman year I added people off social media from around the area to see their opinions on it before I was thrown into a whole new school district. I was very nervous to attend and became even more nervous after hearing the feedback from previous students enrolled. One of the comments I received about the school really stuck with me throughout my whole High School experience here. A girl I got ahold of informed me she hated the school and didn't have a good high school experience whatsoever while attending. I was of course very confused and asked her to then explain herself further and she followed her comment up with "The people are just horrible." When I started attending the school I thought it was really nice but then I saw why she hated it.

Searching for a neighborhood and home because of a transfer move, we heard about Parma from a friend. The school ratings are frankly not very good, but what really struck us is that over 50% of students qualify for the free lunch/low income family program, while the teachers annual salary is over $9...

Parma high is like any other high school: If you desire to succeed, then it is up to you to assure that you do. Though, if you dislike or you are indifferent toward school, PSH does not do a great job in aiding you to get through high school.

I had some of the best teachers at this school, even better than some of the professors I had in college. I was in the honors program and never had a bad experience with the students, teachers, or office staff. School is what you make of it. I worked hard and did well, the teachers were always willi...
