Pearland Highschool was the first school to make me feel as though I belonged. Coming from a very small school Pearland was a complete culture shock in the best way possible. Going in I was nervouse I wouldn't fit in since the people attending had been in the same district their whole lives. On the contrary though, I ended up making bonds with people I never thought I would have. I joined the band and had the best 3 years of my life because of that organization. I am forever grateful for all the relationships and opportunites this school gave me.

In the three years of being an oiler , the school has improved in it's academic skills and engaging students in learning , getting them to their full potential. I really enjoyed my teachers and they helped me learn the subjects they teach the best of their ability. The school overall has improved and helped the students learn and not fool around like my freshmen year of high school.

The experience was overall a standard not out of the norm. I formed bonds that have lasted thanks to sports and events being held on campus. The only down fall is that it doesn't prepare you or have enough help to get you information for college. I graduated a class of eight hundred so that would be my biggest complaint is just the lack of help getting information out to us.

Pearland High is, at best, a mediocre school. I managed to transfer myself to Dawson High, which is also in Pearland ISD. The change was immediate. The teachers were much better. They were friendly with their students and were on good terms with parents. The administrators and office workers were ef...

PHS has high academic standards and excellent teacher preparation and education. The administration fosters a friendly, team-building atmosphere. The school is student centered- not only on academics, but supporting students emotionally, too.

Pearland Higgh School is a wonderful place where students can grow and learn academically. They get the studetns prepared for the real college world.
