The school has excellent CTE classes for the Pekin High students. We are about only school in the area to offer a lot of the CTE classes. They learn real world careers at Pekin High School. Great teachers and staff for the program.

Overall Pekin Community High School is a great school, with specific strengths in the science department. With a recent update in the grading system, there seem to be more struggles placed on both students and teachers, in every department. The school, also, provides an abundance of opportunities.

Pekin Community High School has a lot of opportunities for different career paths. We have many classes for different pathways and for all students. Pekin High has allowed me to grow both academically and as a person. I would like to see the grading system changed from Standard Based Grading (SBG) back to the tradition scale grading.

This school is very poorly ran. Kids with names can do whatever while the rest of the kids are punished for not being at the same status as the admin.
