GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have enjoyed my time at PHS. My time in the Marching band has really had an impact On me. It has taught me about being part of a team and reaching for the stars.

Small school with teachers and administrators who really care about the students. The school has a strong work environment that leads by example in the community. Very involved with local activities. Encourages students to achieve all that they dream for.

Small town, everyone knows everyone. The students in the school are all very close and I honestly miss high school. I am so proud of all my achievements that I had during high school, and tend to visit some of the staff and teachers that helped me achieve them. Our agriculture center is the best in the state of South Carolina and our FFA team goes above and beyond. I was an officer all 4 years of my high school career. I love this school and everyone in it.
