I had a great time at Somerset Academy. I was there since 5th grade and stayed till I graduated in 2020. The staff go above and beyond for their students. I am really fortunate to have had such wonderful professors who became my life coaches for many aspects. At the time, high school was the last place you wanted to be. But looking back, they had so many cool things for us like "Multicultural day", "Color Wars", and Homecoming week. I am so glad to have experienced my high school years with Somerset.

I've started Somerset in 2023 and it's a pretty average school. As with my stars, it has its up and downs just as with many schools however safety is my biggest concern. A lot of fights and stabbings happen along with hard bullying. Administration basically doesn't do anything in these cases

Best: all the events on campus, also the principal was very active on campus, and want to connect with students Worst: college prep for seniors needs to improve. I think it's had for one person to do it for all seniors. Also I understand admin want to push student to the highest academic level they can handle, but when a student says they feel as though a specific (non mandatory) class is not for them, staff needs to listen. Because at the end of the day, it is just hurting the student in the long run.

This school has a very faulty administration. There are four that are set to run the high school and they constantly contradict one another. This leaves both the teachers and students confused at times. Discipline at this school is either handled in an uneducated manner or the students are treated l...

All the lower ratings are CORRECT. This is my 4th year (I'm a Senior) and it's honestly a bad school. The only reason it's even rated so high is because the close-knit families among the students and parents(like the people below me pointed out). The school IS bad. Last year I had a chemistry teache...

I didn't like this school at all... I was super excited when I got accepted but after, I regretted even going. I went for 9th grade and left in the beginning of 10th grade, I'm now online schooled until I find a better school for myself because I didn't want to go to this school anymore. The teacher...
