It was a great experience , I attended from 6th to 8th grade. Teachers are nice and fun. I went through some really hard times in my life while going there, and the guidance counselor as well as professors really helped me out and made me feel better. The school itself is very nice and organized, in a good area. I enjoyed my time there, and the teachers really helped me reach my academic goals.

It has good teachers but it has also become a school filled with drugs due to the high school right next to the school

I attended Walter C. Young Middle school for my 6th-8th grade education. Walter isn't an above average middle school, aside from a handful of exemplary teachers and staff, everything just meets the bare minimum. I did, however, learn that no matter what is presented to you, you still need to work hard and accomplish everything and anything you want in life.

You know a school is great when there are teachers there have become staples in the community. This year all the events the PTSA hosted for the kids were fantastic. It's nice when the school makes efforts to reward their students for doing the right thing and improving academically.

This is not a middle school campus, this is a street fight campus. And yes I am not exaggerating… 2 - 3 times a week at least (big ones, Bc some “light” ones it’s every single day), they post the videos, it’s ridiculous.
