For more than 20 years, Murchison Elementary School has been a leader in Pflugerville's academic achievement. The school has received both an “A” rating from the district and an 8 out of 10 from Greatschools.com.
The school credits its success to the devoted faculty and staff. They’re always coming up with creative ways to make the curriculum engaging. Imagine a librarian dressed as a pirate to bring a storybook to life or a teacher using blocks to illustrate a math lesson. Administrators greet students and parents every day and are very approachable. Teachers seem to love their jobs. We have been so happy with the school...except for the parking...the parking is horrendous!
