Pflugerville’s past, present and future come together at Timmerman Elementary School. In the city’s early days, Timmerman’s former building housed all 12 grades beneath its roof. The scoreboard on the old athletic field still stands as a monument to the high school football team’s winning streak in the 1950s. Even Timmerman’s name celebrates an important figure in the district’s history. Theodor Timmerman was a respected community leader and school board president.
In 2017, Timmerman relocated to a new campus a few blocks from its original location. It is now one of more than 20 elementary schools in the district.
Students receive a solid foundation in reading, math, science and social studies, in keeping with Pflugerville ISD’s very high standards. They also participate in activities designed to help them meet future challenges. Destination Imagination, for one, is a global program in which students form teams to solve problems using creativity and critical thinking skills.
Timmerman students also work in the school’s vegetable garden, celebrate literacy at the school’s book fair and show off their creative talents in the district-wide fine arts showcase.
At Timmerman Elementary, today’s students honor their school’s storied past while preparing to become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.

We have all new administration and MANY new committed teachers who are really trying to turn our school around. We also have a great PTO and many involved parents. I wish there were more involved parents!

Terrible experience, if your child does not fit into the a cookie cutter box then do not go here. Find something else, this has been the worst experience for my child and he is hurting inside from administration saying... we love you , your a good kid... in the same breath saying your suspended and...

I love Timmerman. It is a smaller school full of heart. Great teachers, parents, staff, and most of all students!
