GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As a senior, I have spent countless hours in Phil Campbell High School. As a school, Phil Campbell does it's best to work with students. Since it is not a city school, most students do not have access to as many opportunities as a city school would. Personally, I know students from city schools who have great test scores and ACT scores because of the courses offered at their school. At Phil Campbell, we do not get offered courses to help us with the ACT or other important tests.

Phil Campbell high does a great job of welcoming their students to their classrooms. I would change some of the policies around absenses being counted while you are sick.

I liked how small it was, but the cliquey attitude and focus on students from "predominant" community families is a little ridiculous.

This is the best school I ever attended. I lived in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama due to my father being in the military. Phil Campbell is an outstanding school and hands down the best one I ever attended.
