Academy at Palumbo has taught me a lot as a student and as a person. When I enter my frshmen year I did not know what to expect. I was scared and in my own bubble. From there I made life long friends and some I can even call family. I will say my freshmen and sophmore year was hard. I was discoving who I was and it was overwhelming with so many changes in my life happening at once. By Junior year I knew I needed to change in order to archive my dreams and start my life. Palumbo is an amazing school and many teacher really do care, but it is about how much you also make an effort to communicate and build that bond. High school in general can catergorize you and not everyone is on your side. I say find your people that will push you up instead of push you down. Palumbo taught me a lot, but I hope to see more community in all hghschools, not just mine. It okay to talk to others and make friends with everyone instead of sticking to one group of people.

The school is very diverse. We have many clubs and organizations. We share in everyone's culture. We celebrate all holidays and the teachers are always involved. I've made so many new friends. I do wish that the building and classrooms were updated a little more. It is an old building.

It is a great school with a wide range of students and backgrounds. Teachers and environment are and nice and friendly. There is a wide range of sports and activity.

My child had an excellent experience at the Academy at Palumbo. The teachers are creative and try to connect with their students. The principal is approachable, responsive, and truly cares about the success of her students.
