I honestly did not have that much experience with Carver High School because I didn't participate in any extra curriculum activities for personal reasons but outside of that Carver High School is a great school because it offers a lot of opportunities and activities for people who wouldn't even get a chance to receive them if they went to any regular high school in Philadelphia.

In all honesty I love the school but one of my biggest fears for this school is how they never find a way to schedule things for the students. I wish teachers would collaborate with each other so that they would give their students ample amount of time so that they could find time to study for every test that been given to them. I feel like there should be no reason why I had 2 projects due on the same day both of them worth a lot to my grade while also having to worry about the fact that I have a test coming on Thursday and another project on Friday while also having to balance with all the homework they assign for us. I think the worst of it was when they used to give a a half day and call it a mental health day and don get me wrong Im grateful but at the same time it would have just been better for them to either make it a day where there were no classes and friends could talk among each other as they get any assignments they need done or just giving us the entire day off.

There are no fights which is great compared to other schools including central, everyone there is friendly and social. The environment is great because the students there care about their grades and their future which sets greats examples for other students. The students there as well work with each...

My son is a sophomore at Carver. I love it! The kids are bright and hard working, and the environment is safe and generally focused. Most teachers work hard and go the extra mile. However, there are teachers who teach the same content, lecture-style that they have taught for years. My son cares deep...

My daughter was attacked at this school by another student. She received 14 stitches to her head and a severe concussion. The boy was not reprimanded. We need the truth of what goes behind these doors. This isn’t a good school. My daughter’s incident wasn’t reported because they don’t want to seem l...

Carver is an amazing school, particularly for students interested in science and engineering. The school is in a relatively new building (for the District) on the edge of the Temple campus. The teachers are top notch and most strive to create a caring environment for the students. I feel this school...
