Friere has prepared me for my secondary education. The best part about the school is the staff. I could go to them for anything. I currently have an IEP and I couldn't ask for better support. When you say the worst part I really don't have a worse part. School is what you make it and I have thrived at Friere. What I would like to see changed is the fees on lost and broken equipment. Other than that I have no complaints, this school has really kept me on the fast track to my college education.

I did not have the best high school experience due to covid and other reasons. During my senior year my school struggled with having teachers leaving us to teach ourselves. The best part of e will be cheering and dancing at basketball games. I plan to have a better experience in college for myself.

I feel their lottery process is unfair. Don't tell them anything about your child or it may be used against you.

I am a MS parent also & I feel their discipline policy is not fully developed. Disciplinarians should have some level of child development training or at least be certified in Social Svcs. FCS specifically advises applicants that they will be working with urban youth, that being said-they should hav...
