Administration is disingenuous. More interested in reputation than students. Great academics. Great teachers. Buyer beware. Parent community is similarly very elitist.

My son started his 3rd Grade in GFS and now he is a middle schooler. We are very satisfied with the school in all aspects. GFS was great to get its students and families involved as part of the community. The academic design is challenging but not stressful. Teachers did a wonderful job in nurturing the students to grow not only mentally but physically and emotionally. Plenty of activities and clubs. My son was always happy with his school friends. We appreciate the Quaker culture and feel the five values benefits the students from insider and in long term. The school is renovating some of its facilities and we'd like to see this change that will make school life more convenient.

We really like it so far. We are a new GFS family and my child is in middle school. While the academics isn't as challenging as what I had hoped for, my child's well being is absolutely flourishing. I'm cautiously impressed. The teachers seem to truly care about the whole child and the peers are really nice. The school seems to truly focus on the whole child-- mental, physical and social. My child is a much more positive (no longer a negative nelly), much more engaged with learning, and is just happier person since starting the school only 2 months ago. GFS isn't just a private school "with more resources"-- it's actually a welcoming nurturing place. I don't know how to explain it, but it just works, at least for my child. So very very pleased.
