Overall, I had a great experience at New Foundations. Academically I am prepared for college and because of the honors and AP courses offered, I have a very attractive application. The counselors are there to make sure you succeed as well.

I like how they give you all the resources and necessities to succeed through every year, but they don't actually hold your hand through it, as they expect you to prepare and get the answers yourself. I like that kind of independence. I do, however, wish that there were more cultural activities in the school. Despite this, I wouldn't change anything.

Best part about going to this school is the clubs and activities that students can participate in. I personally joined the rock band and choir and had an absolute blast. Outside of that the school is just okay with not much going on for it.

As a parent who has had 4 children go to the school I can honestly say that it has gone downhill over the last several years. They are more worried about their “ brand” than anything else. If you like to wait 20 minutes for your child after dismissal time each day then this school is for you.

I would rate it great. The score doesn't do justice to the school level, but the teachers and leadership can use it as tool to enforce better study habits from students and find effective ways to improve the score.
