Conwell is a great school, but the area around the school is in bad shape. The staff at Conwell really want your children to succeed, but the surrounding environment isn't too safe.

this school is very dirty, they don't help children succeed in life. My daughter says that there is a lot of fights between students, cursing and a lot other stuff but there is some upsides like the teachers , Mr.posnan , Mr.ford and Ms.Burke and plenty of more . The academics are some really helpful according to the teacher , Mr.dungan ( i'm sorry if i spelled that wrong) was very helpful to my daughter she has problems concentrating and anger problems thanks to him she is a little better at staying focus. The school isn't very well but teachers and staff are very great

My 5th grader began attending Conwell this year. I ride the El train daily commuting to and from work. The Mastery school children are so obnoxious and loud. It was a pleasure to have 4 Conwell young men ride the train and act appropriate, even when one of the Mastery students tried to intimidate on...

My son is on 5th grade and so far everything is great. I see the attention that the advisor have with the student. The principal Mrs. Green have been back and forth to the annex.
