GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm a senior at Pisgah High School. The school offers you several opportunities to succeed in life, such as: college preparation, advance courses, dual enrollment. in the other side, music and arts are not really support by the school. Some kids do not enjoy the sport program so it does not leave them any other option for an extracurricular activity. Food and nutrition is a real problem. The diversity of food is really good, but it is not rich in flavor and some kids do not even eat their lunch because it is not really enjoyable. these are the main points of pisgah high school, and overall it is a pretty good school

I like how people get involved in clubs and activities. I wish to see bullying changed and how teachers approach bullying.

Pisgah didn't offer anything but sports, tech, and duel enrollmen. No music, art, or choir. This year our new principal has pushed for music and art but this will be the first time in my highschool career. Until this year where we have chrome books in each class we was using 20-30year old books. Hopefully the school will stop putting everything into sports and be more rounded.

Don’t take your child to this school. No matter the age but especially in high school. There is nothing good only horrible stories of drug deal, teachers bullying kids and administrators caring about nothing! If you play sports you are treated like a king and the rest of the humans are just there ta...

Pisgah High School May have been a wonderful school in years past. But, it’s completely gone downhill. It’s completely different from the Elementary. When my child started 7th grade I knew it wasn’t going to be the same as the Elementary. No, it’s been much worse. We have a principal that doesn’t ca...
