The school admin seems to care more about it's appearance than the students. They take their time confronting any conflict between students and are slow to respond to bullying and insults. I have the recipient of insults, slurs and suicide baiting and the school took it's time to come up with the lightest punishment ever. Almost no consequences for poor actions. Most of the teachers really seem to care about the students but I don't feel I'm being prepared for college especially because there is a general assumption that the students won't pursue a higher education.

It's a good school if you're looking for a unique educational experience. There are issues, like with any school, but it is a supportive community and the teachers are very invested in their student's success. I would prefer a more stable organizational structure, but if you're interested in forging a community this is the school for you.

Administration was not good. Not adept at handling social issues. Not great academically, though some of the teachers were good. My suggestion is to look deeply and ask questions before signing up.

This school, which I only have experience with the grade school K-5 level, could be wonderful. My child has learned a lot. Where they fall incredibly short is allowing bullying. If a kid is unfortunate enough to be singled out by a bully, said bully will recruit others to assist in the bullying. But...

The Environmental Charter School has been an incredible resource for my children! My son was accepted for 1st grade in 2016 and my daughter entered Kindergarten the following year. The teachers have always been exceptional! Looping 2+ grade years allowed them to get to know my children so well both...

Worst school ever!! If your child has any sort of special needs - DO NOT go here! They do nothing to support them and don’t follow IEP’s.
