Fox chapel area high school is a fun place with good sports except football. The staff is great there. They help out with planning to go to college and helps parents what to do. The community is a good community that helps out.

FCAHS is fantastic – there's a reason it's considered one of the best. Academics are great, and even the "worse" teachers are good at their jobs. I've had a great academic experience as a STEM-focused student. There is a variety of clubs, activities, and sports to choose from, and a student body with diverse interests.

Fox Chapel High School is a very well known school among people in the area. The teachers are very hit or miss, however, regardless of the teachers you have you get a good education. The building itself is newly renovated and very nice. The school offers a lot of activities and ways to get involved. Overall a pretty good school.

The main problem I have is the people that attend the school are very, very cliquey. It’s so bad to the point where you are in a clique, or you’re not. I graduated from this school some years ago. My kids attend this school, relatives graduated from Fox Chapel. Overall one of the best schools around. You will not find a better school in the region. 10 out of 10. The Teachers there make the school what it is today.

Definitely a class divide. It's very cliquey and there's a large disparity between the Sharpsburg kids and the FC kids. Like others have mentioned, extracurriculars are expensive.
