I believe the school has great opportunity but as anything you get our what you put into it into it, and utilize the opportunities available to you for growth to benefit.

I moved to this school during my sophomore year of high school and everything has been great from the teaching to the students and the clubs I felt so welcomed into the school . IT is challenging enough for your education and fun to join afterschool activity .

Plainedge prepared me academically for college. They offer college-level and AP courses. Please be aware that it is a very white school, and students often use racial slurs without any consequences. Plainedge is its own little world. If you want your child to go to a school where they will encounter cultural diversity, Plainedge is not the way to go. There is also a lot of bullying here. I did not feel safe.

This school has a lot to offer- AP, honors, after school clubs, SAT prep... New website with plenty of helpful links. Students and parents are contacted on a regular basis through email and Powerschool. Well worth the taxes.

Plenty of after school activities if you want to participate. Robotic team placed 2nd in the county. Many clubs and good caring teachers. Parents need to get involved. Taxes are high- why? No business to help the tax burden.
