I went to PS my junior and now senior year. I like it a lot, it has a good diverse community, and the food is delicious, better than the public high schools and elementary schools I went to starting in the fifth grade. The teachers are also really nice and caring, and have your best interests in mind.

This is my first year at PSHS, and it has definitely met my expectations. I am not very academic so I take 4 electives because I love choir and I take 3 choir classes, and that being an option is just so amazing. As well I am in an AV class which is the career path I plan to go into. So my day is just all electives and I think that is truly such a plus about PSHS is getting excited to go to school because of how fun my day is. On the other hand I used to like school because of the academic side of it more but after Covid there is just a huge decrease of enthusiasm from teachers and what they teach and I think that makes the fun of learning go away for some students. I think PSHS has sadly definitely followed under that and left that love for engaging learning behind in some cases where I know friends who just don't even really learn and just have to teach themselves. I luckily don't have to deal with that much but that is definitely a downside that I know all schools are suffering from

Plano Senior has a good and easy to understand layout but some of the buildings are very obviously in need of a remodel. The teachers are nice and the staff are very helpful.

The AP courses and test-readiness levels / focus on SAT are excellent. Counseling i...

Since covid this school has not been giving the same great education as it was before covid. PISD in general is failing our students.

My 2 kids graduated from PSHS, and they both had an outstanding educational experience. Many AP and dual credit courses that can shave a year off a college degree. They both thrived In extracurriculars (orchestra, theatre, speech/debate, academic decathlon). We had good experiences with their academ...

Plano Senior was an incredible high school to attend, and I am to this day extremely proud of everything that Plano stands for, tradition and diversity. The teachers that I had in my time attending Plano were dedicated to their jobs and would go above and beyond for all of their students. Once a wil...
