My best experiences at DHS has definitely been the extracurriculars. The clubs and sports offered at Durant are one of the best things about it. My worst experiences are probably the safety / people aspect of things, however that is mostly a reflection on the people here and not the school itself.

The best part about DHS is how much they care about the arts; it's not a crazy funding but it's definitely better than other schools in the county. The worst part is probably how normalized racism is here. Teachers and students alike feel comfortable saying racist things directly and indirectly about students in minority groups.
