The best parts of the school are the sports, school spirit, and the great teachers. Biggest issue I have is how many problems there are with bathrooms and vaping around the school.

Throughout my whole 4 years at Durant high school, I would rate the school a 4/5. The reason I would rate Durant this rating is because of all the good teachers and friends you would meet when going to this school. The only thing I would say they need to improve on is the food and adding more extracurricular courses to take.

The best part about DHS is how much they care about the arts; it's not a crazy funding but it's definitely better than other schools in the county. The worst part is probably how normalized racism is here. Teachers and students alike feel comfortable saying racist things directly and indirectly about students in minority groups.
