This school appears to have taken a serious downturn under the current principal. He has shown little concern for student well-being. While there are still great teachers in this school, the new principal is awful. He lacks communication skills, compassion, connection with staff and children, and basically tells you what you want to hear. Excellent leadership, excellent teachers and staff, comfortable and happy environment, character education, parent involvement is strong and parents are seen as partners, governing board in place due to charter school status, strong PTO, differentiated education allowing all students to excel.
