It's a great place where everyone knows everyone and the teachers make actual one on one connections with their students and show that they really care. I learned so much and not just in the classroom but with my friends and other students. Pocola is a small town, small school I should say but we have a huge welcoming heart and you will always see a smiling face.

I've gone here for a very long time. It was my first permanent school because I had moved many times when I was younger.

Pocola High School was average for the schools in the area, I firmly believe they push sports and athletics over education. College preparedness was not top notch.

As someone said earlier i was judged, made fun of by students and teachers alike. Small town small minded people. I excelled anyway and graduated. However my kids will not be treated the same. We moved to a better district

As a 1985 graduate and mother of 3 children that attended the same school( only 2 chose to finish there. 1 transferred to Alma) I must say I'm disappointed in the school. I was proud to be an Insian but not so proud to be a parent bc the school has become a brick on the developing minds and personal...
