Pocola High School is an average rated school. My eighth and freshman year, I did not have a math teacher. In my sophomore year, I did not have a Spanish teacher. Some teachers who were there helped me a lot, and others did not.

As someone said earlier i was judged, made fun of by students and teachers alike. Small town small minded people. I excelled anyway and graduated. However my kids will not be treated the same. We moved to a better district

As a 1985 graduate and mother of 3 children that attended the same school( only 2 chose to finish there. 1 transferred to Alma) I must say I'm disappointed in the school. I was proud to be an Insian but not so proud to be a parent bc the school has become a brick on the developing minds and personal...
