Maurice J. McDonough High is a decent school. To me, it's known for Athletics and Arts. We have a lovely drama department and Our cheerleading team are state champions (2x). Our school was recently revamped and it now looks a lot nicer, considering its age. The admin & staff are pretty good. Even if you don't like some there are others you can always count on. The students are good, typical high schoolers. I'm a junior and I believe over the 3 years my experience has improved each year.

My experience at McDonough has been a ride, whether it's teachers who lost my work or students who I just don't get along with. The school is going through renovations, which is amazing, if it wasn't i'd say the building need to change. I'm glad they're renovating, the previous look of the school was very old and not welcoming.

My experience at Maurice J. Mcdonough highschool has been a interesting one that has also prepared me for my future. It was a struggle learning there as there's little support from the staff. A change that would make a difference would be the hygiene of the school just overall it could be cleaner.

My wife and I are both graduates from this school. To now see our daughter go here brings us great joy. To see some of our old teachers still there feels somewhat surreal. The best part is not just seeing our daughter compete in sports, but also to see have opportunities that we never had while atte...

Choose a different school to go to! This school is absolutely horrible! Extremely unorganized and do not check and double check their information. Example, student with straight A's in high school, all AP classes, Dual enrolled and finishing senior year and part of junior year doing all college clas...

It has not been enjoyable, but luckily some teachers and staff have helped make my experience bearableIt’s not a good environment to be in. The students are cruel. There’s always fights and violence. Teachers show obvious favoritism towards students. Students have no freedom during their ironic free...

We've had a positive experience at McDonough High School. It is a small school with approximately 850 students and a good fine arts program. Since St. Charles High School opened, we've seen a marked improvement in the behavior problems and we expect that to continue. The previous principal made the...
