We like that they strive to prepare the student for a positive college experience. My daughter is in the Allied Health program. It is a great way to experience the various professions within the medical field. My only opinion of an area they could improve upon would be to have a bit better organization within this program.

I like that it is a small school, so it is easy to get access to extra help, however there are problems with budget cuts. They prioritize the football team, and spend a lot of money on making it look nice, including redoing the field to make it look nice and building a nice snack stand outside for football games. Meanwhile in art class the teacher makes us use limited supplies because there isn't enough for us to use a lot.

There are a variety of organizations and sports that you can join to be as much or little involved as you would like. Everybody is friendly and gets along with one another.

My children have enjoyed their experience at PTHS. The academics are challenging, there are a lot of activities to get involved in and the administration and students truly care about the kids. Sports are big and the community is very involved.
