The best thing about Ponca school has got to be the teachers. The teachers here work hard to make sure students understand the material. The thing I don't like about Ponca is that if you're not in sports, then you're not gonna be "liked" by the student body. I am in the arts, and while yes, I did have my own friends, if felt like everybody hated just despised me. The school focuses funds in the athletics while the arts struggle.

Over all my experience at Ponca Public School was good, but administration showed favoritism to students who's parents were on the school board or community leaders. If I could change anything it would be to even the playing field so that all students were offered the same opportunities.

The teachers at my school really do care about every single one of the students and are always willing to help a student who is struggling or has different learning abilities than other kids. All of the teachers are very kind and helpful people.

My experience comes from hearing parents and student who are extremely pleased, and watching and knowing dozens of students. Thus a high quality school often rated one of the best in Nebraska and Siouxland.
