Poolesville High School is a unique magnet school with four different programs that make up the student body. Students come from all over the county and creates a decent amount of diversity to the school. The staff is very supportive and there are a variety of classes for students to explore their interests.

Poolesville was a nice school, especially after the remodeling/renovations that they did. Shame i'm graduating this year, and i'm probably not going to see the whole thing finished. I had a great time here, met a bunch of new people, and most of the teachers were great, except maybe like 2 in my whole 4 years here. I'd like the food to change a bit though, it sucked most of the time. There were plenty of resources here to study with, and I always got help when I needed.

Brand new school that was built. Opened last year and is a game changer. Really a great building for students to learn at now.

The best school in MCPS and Maryland for academically talented students. A very low pressure environment and the rural isolation of the school prevents bad elements from being present around the students. My magnet student is very happy and even with the hour long commute daily loves going to school...

a solid 4/10. the peple here are cool or whatever but like... this school focuses more on turning in assignments than the students' mental health.

Very, very good. It's greatest asset is its superior teaching staff. Any student lucky enough to get through the highly selective admission process to go to Poolesville is lucky indeed.
