GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was pretty good, now I wasnt there for the first three years of my high school career, so it was hard for me at first to fit in, but then eventually I was able to make a few friends, who helped me get through the year. At first the school can seem really bug, and it can be demeaning to your confidence, because I myself felt like a small fish in a big pond, when I used to feel like a big fish in a small pond.

In the beginning, when I first went to high school during my ninth and 10th grade years, I had a lot of fun. We had all of the spirit weeks and activities and I had so many friends and I was living life still worrying about my academics and doing good in school at the same time but then 11th and 12th grade came up and I lost all my friends because they were people who were talking behind my back and students there are full of those kind of people. Even worse so, the school would never help me with all of my problems and would actually just cause me more troubles and with sometimes leave me crying for all of the struggles that I had to deal with because of the staff there. A lot of things were not correct or even added onto my transcripts. There were problems with my classes and getting them started, the attitude of people or people not wanting to help me etc. all of my problems I was dealing with, were because of the school. I highly do not recommend going to this high school.

I love the band program but feel more resources are needed in the library to help students who do not have printer access at home.

This school has little to none air conditioning, is infested with several rodents which you can confirm by asking any teacher in the small gym area. And all the science buildings smell like leaking gas. All I want is some air condition but apparently that is too much to ask for, they care more about...

Absolutely terrible. The students are some of the most disrespectful and rude people I have ever met, and many teachers are disrespectful and are very weak at their teaching.

This school is overall so terrible, so soulsuckingly toxic in its very nature, and so depressing that skipping class or even entire days of school in order to not have a complete mental breakdown is commonplace.

This school has been a great fit for my student. School is what you make of it. If you have a child that does not want to learn you can not force them. The classes my student has had have all been upper level and Advanced Placement. She has excelled and the teachers have proven to be very caring and...
