The community surrounding this school is great. When the school has functions, all family members are welcome. Families are met with cheerful greetings and positive attitudes. This school is very rude I highly recommend not to enroll your kids there the secretary there is very disrespectful and ignorant and so are the teachers they pretty much say you're a bad parent all the time.

Michigamme elementary has one of the higher ratings in Port Huron for scholastic. The teachers take the time with the kids and the principal answers parents questions anytime asked.
