Would never recommend Porter Texas let alone the school to anyone. My child attended for one year and didn’t learn much. He was very much struggling and they insisted on taking his IEP away. Which we are not working one year later on getting that back.

This school have no social support or family engagement. Administrators pick and choose! They do harsh punishment.

We're generally happy with how things are going. The new (2018) no homework policy keeps the kids happier though we worry about establishing a good (home)work ethic without it. The rezoning reduced crowding but also dropped the school out of Title I eligibility so some programs to help kids are oper...
