Baxter allows driven students to have control over their education to include their own interests in the learning process. Teachers are usually passionate about what they teach and go above and beyond to work with eager students. Baxter could use some more stability in terms of keeping staff more long term and better communication between staff and administration. Baxter has a lot of potential and seems to be heading in the right direction.

Since all the other high schools in my area are not up to my standards, I decided to come here. I loved my freshman and sophomore year, however, unfortunately, with the recent administration changes, I feel disappointed, let down, unsatisfied, and unhappy. The administration is not as involved as most would expect. THey are not able to control the hallways and some of the students. I hope the school is able to bounce back from these recent changes and be able to grow.

Baxter is an amazing school if you are self-driven and put in the effort. You have to advocate for yourself if you want to do well at Baxter. It is a very rigorous school with amazing classes, I just wish there were more advanced classes, as I am only a junior with no more harder classes to take. The teachers are there to support you, but again you need to advocate for that help. The community is very welcoming and friendly, the only issue is the immaturity levels of some of the students.
