Portland is an okay school with helpful teachers but a cliquey student body. Lunch is free but there is very little options for food

Great teachers and great environment. Something special this school offers it's students is an open campus. This allows us to spread our wings in the city for lunch, build trust and respect with staff and meet amazing the amazing community that builds not only our city, but our campus too.

My son is a student at PHS and is receiving an excellent education. He is being challenged and has an extensive selection of STEM electives to choose from. My son had a great experience at PHS and was well prepared for college. The staff was caring and competent, there is amazing diversity and support. Highly recommend!

Portland High School is a beautiful school, really niche architecturally, set in the heart of downtown Portland Maine. It is culturally rich, diverse, and they give a lot to the community. Our kids were very well prepared for college when they graduated! Thanks PPHS!
