I graduated from Catlin Gabel back in 1996. The 5 years I spent there (8th grade - 12 grade) were some of the most transformational years of my life. I'm in my 40s now rarely a day goes by when I don't think about how that experience laid a foundation for who I am today- a curious, creative, critical-thinking, decent human being. I recently had coffee with the Head of School and was thrilled to learn that Catlin's best days may lay ahead.... If you are a parent considering sending your child to Catlin Gabel, give it a long, hard look. You won't regret it.

We have had a wonderful experience at this school. The small class sizes are a huge benefit. Our child loves all the specials including Chinese, wood shop, art, music, library, science, tinkering, & wellness. We are very grateful for the school community.

We have had an amazing experience with Catlin Gabel, even after starting in the Covid time period. Our 4th grade child that started in Kindergarten, has thrived in the academics, social activities, and everything else Catlin Gabel gives him. He has absolutely adored every teacher he has had too. We have nothing bad to say as everything has been better than we could have ever asked for. His experience has been A+++ overall.

Learning: Amazing. Very intimate, most teachers were professors and specialized in their field. Feels like a college campus with uppity buildings endowed by the opulent & with sporty/incredibly smart students who know their way around a chateau yet are extremely humble and nice. Just a touch of enti...

I can only attest for the Upper School, but as a upper school student the school has provided me with an invigorating, intimate, and stimulating education that is unmatched by all private schools I know. Although the workload is intense and can often border overwhelming, the intimate community that...

The teachers are so nice and helpful and if you have a problem they will help you until you know how to handle it. The students are really kind and the school goes to far lengths to make sure they are as welcoming, kind, friendly, and open as they can be. The campus is beautiful as well. I think thi...
