Grant High School is in a nice new building, but that's just about the only nice new thing about the school. There is significant overcrowding, almost every class has 35+ students and it's hard to get the classes you want. There are some great teachers, and some bad teachers, but overall both the STEM and Arts/theater/music programs are very solid.

Grant is a good school for opportunity, there is a lot to begin and a lot to try. School spirit is high and the facilities are good enough for anything you will probably need. However the administration is very tough and strict ok students for certain policies.

My experience during my time at grant has been many. During my first two years at Grant I played for the men's Soccer team and I was able to see that the school takes its sport seriously. All 4 years during my time at Grant, have been good. The teachers I have had have all been wonderful and have taught me a lot about their subjects.

I can't lie, a vast majority of people here love it. The only problem is the administration who are disrespectful to the students and the teachers. Most of the teachers are great and I am getting a great education here. I saw a lot of reviews saying that Grant is horrible, but I have to disagree. By...

Absolutely awful. After two years of putting up with it, we moved. Our entire family wishes we transferred earlier.

Excellent for my incoming Junior. Incoming Freshman sister will be well accommodated by her instruction here too. They are college-bound, ready to learn and participate thanks to good grooming through elementary and middle-school experiences. GHS furthers this mission.
