GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going to Lincoln for my high school experience prepared me for the advanced academics I would be facing in college. By providing IB classes and fostering an environment of determination, learning, and growth, I became a strong writer and a resilient learner in my classes. Additionally, I was lucky to find the arts program as I was a part of the choir community which grew close, and was a way for individuals to connect over singing and music.

Three of my children have graduated from Lincoln High School. The teachers, staff and administration have supported each of them and their different learning styles and personalities.

Most of the teachers are outstanding. The sense of community is very strong. There is a vast array of extra-curricular options outside of academics. Academic rigor is available if you choose that path. The new building and campus are state of the art.

The students here are polite and engaged for the most part. Most of the work is on Chromebooks so the collaboration is missing a bit, but the students do get a decent education.

Community is fine. Many teachers do not know how to teach.

Great school and overall great community! Awesome teachers who actually care about their students and want to see them succeed. The new school is state of the art, 6 floors with magnificent views of downtown Portland. The IB program is great! It is very adaptable to your needs with doing the whole d...

A somewhat toxic environment for both students and staff. Priority is given to IB and Ivy League-bound students without honoring those with different goals or needs. The new building will be amazing but won’t help with the mindset.
