Counselor does not get along w/our child's current teacher (info. Relayed from our child but tension is obvious between the 2) making our child feel justified in being disruptive. Confronted, 2Xs IN FRONT of our child, told not to take away screen time (@our home) to correct our daughters disruptive behavior (child has ADHD) Counselor implemented check-in/check-out program to see if pos. reinforcement would correct our child's behavior w/giving a toy for reaching most of the smiley faces. Our child would get all smiles even w/ notes of disruptive behavior on the form. So, data collected incorrect vs actuality of events. Our child is behind in class but counselor continues to cut into instructional time after the end of her "successful" conclusion from said program. Based on meetings, counselor projects daughters issues on ours, poor job assessing our child. Teachers are good, but class work is not challenging enough @ least in comparison to LA or TX schools.

You see a lot of reviews about how family oriented and nice folks are. This is false if you are different than the main population of folks around here. Llewellyn has a wonderful community of parents and teachers with excellent communication from the school. We've found it easy to engage with other parents and make connections. One of the best things about this school is its supportive and close-knit parent community. It takes a village to raise a child, and Llewellyn families care about each other and their kids.
