The best part of Portland Christian is the environment. The teachers there genuinely care about the students and have made many sacrifices to see them succeed. The downside of going to a small private school is the lack of diversity which makes me stand out more being one of the very few African Americans. There is also higher competition and expectations to improve because of the environment. The one thing I would like to see change is the population of the school to grow so that there are more diverse students and expenses would decrease.

I had a wonderful experience here at Portland Christian. I made many lifelong friends in the students and even in staff. The teachers truly cared not only about our school life, but also about each student.
