GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love this school, which is why it's the only school I've been to in my academic career. The school has its ups and downs. First off the staff are great, very nice and welcoming people. The teachers usually do whatever it takes to reassure that you're coming out of their class more knowledgeable. The downsides have to be the facilities, the building is around 100+ years old and has had renovations but a entirely new building is what's desperately needed, but it is a charter school so you'll have that I guess.

I have been a student at Sciotoville Community School for the past 5 years, and overall my experience has been pretty good. I don't think I am as ready for college as some others I know that go to different schools, but I think our teachers have taught me more real life lessons than most teachers at other schools in the area. I think i have obtained a valuable education and created strong, close relationships with my teachers and classmates.

My experience at Sciotoville Community Schools is very average. The people here are pretty nice and the academics are ok. This school also does not have the bullying problem that other schools in the area have. Because it is so small, there is a strong sense of family. The extracurricular programs are also improving yearly.

I graduated from Sciotoville in 1998. I still have very fond memories of the staff and students there. I transferred from Piketon during my freshman year and everyone made me feel welcome. Sciotoville is very much a family and the school reflects that with its staff.
