I have many good parts of my time at Vigor High School. I build lasting friendships. I participate in activities like band. I discover subjects that shape my future. The bad parts include academic pressure. I face social challenges. I also deal with limited resources. I wish we have better support for mental health. I wish we have a relevant curriculum. I wish we have better facilities. These changes can make high school better for everyone.

C.F. Vigor High School has its good and bad. A few good things about the school is that they prioritize their students. They support our future and find ways to help us on our journey. The staff pushes us forward and even gives us a hand. I've got to experience this first hand and was able to become ready for college and figure out what I wanted to do. The teachers help out a lot and I learn things I never knew rather it's the curriculum or a life lesson. With good comes bad and I can say there's a little things that can be fixed within the school. Some teachers aren't able to explain their lessons in a way I can understand or their approach of doing it is kinda negative. Also I feel like some of the administrators are too strict or they try too hard and come off strong. They don't let you explain the situation that you're getting in trouble for.

I like everything about C.F Vigor High School, they are very supportive and try to get everyone to participate in different school activities. Some teachers are not so understanding but most of them are I love all my teachers and their teaching skills.

I am an alumni of C.F. Vigor High School and just a few years ago the school consisted of many different cultures. I am a college graduate and have family members that are Engineers as well as 4 cousins currently in enrolled at Alabama A& M University that are graduates from C.F. Vigor High School.....
